Awana is a non-denominational weekly program whose goal
is to teach children to know, love, and serve Christ through a variety of
fun and challenging activities. At
Mulberry we are currently running three Awana clubs: Cubbies for
preschoolers, Sparks for grades K-2, T&T (Truth and Training) for grades
3-6. Each club has engaging,
age-appropriate activities that are designed to meet children where they are
developmentally, to teach them the gospel at their level, and to train them
in the Bible. Games, music,
puppets, small group meetings, large group messages, awards, and scripture
memorization are all part of the Awana program.
The kids can work at their own pace, make friends, and grow
spiritually, all in a positive, energized, loving environment.
The kids really love it! If
you would like to find out more about the Awana program, click on the Awana
link. We are currently registering for the 2009/2010 Awana
year. You may register online,
or stop by the church to register your child.
There is no registration fee for Awana, but you will need to purchase
a book and a uniform for your child. The
cost of the book is $10.00 and the cost of the uniform is $10.00. We encourage parents to get involved with Awana.
