Think Thank Peace (Philippians 4:4–12)
Series: Christmas
"Peace to Men" is a loved Christmas theme, but isn't experienced by many. In fact, many would describe their life as anything but peaceful; yet, Paul tells us how we can experience peace, but it will probably require a shift in our thinking and view of life.

    Series: Ephesians
Great spiritual leaders throughout church history have all learned to pray as taught by Jesus, Paul, and others. Instead of thinking, "I've got this," they are dependent upon God through prayer to live the life He was called us to live. They have learned to pray in every situation, moment-by-moment, being watchful for how God might want them to respond. Instead of always focusing their prayers around themselves, they have learned to pray for everything and everyone around them.

    Spiritual Warfare (Pt.8) – What’s this Book? (Ephesians 6:17)
    Series: Ephesians
A battle is raging over your mind, thoughts, and beliefs. Various groups, organizations, and individuals attempt to win you over to their way of thinking and set of values. Likewise, the Bible gives it's own perspective, so how do you know when to listen to the Bible and when to listen to others? If you view the Bible as a book of helpful ideas or suggestions, then you can pick and choose which 'tips' you want to use; however, it claims (Ephesians 6:17) it is the actual Word of God (the Sword of the Spirit) which means it should be used to evaluate the truthfulness of all other suggestions and claims made by others.

    Series: Ephesians
Having a strong, biblical faith or conviction that Jesus is exactly who he claimed to be is an essential piece of Armor of God necessary for handling spiritual warfare in the Christian life. This type of faith does not come by merely accepting what our parents, Sunday school teacher, or even pastor tell us is true; rather, it comes through a serious study of God's Word and the evidence for the Christian faith. This message on Ephesians 6:16 is presented by Pastor W. Bradley Simon at Mulberry Baptist Church in Houma LA.

Spiritual Warfare (Pt.5) - Stand Firm in the Gospel of Peace (Ephesians 6:15)One of the pieces of armor Ephesians 6 talks about is fitting our feet with the readiness that comes from the Gospel of Peace. When accused of a sinful past, all we can do is agree, but then stand firm in (1) the forgiveness that comes through faith in Christ's death for these very sins, and (2) the righteousness this forgiveness brings, and (3) the peace that results between God and us.
